Usually, these are important documents, such as Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) , which will later be used for international purposes. When "Mandatory" Becomes "Encouraged" One example I encountered while reviewing an MoU was this sentence: ✅ Indonesian: “Peserta wajib mengikuti seluruh pelatihan.” ✅ English: “Participants are encouraged to attend the entire training.” See the difference?
